Twin girls!!!

A few days ago I received a fantastic news: a friend of mine had her first 'babies', twin girls!!! I am so happy for her, as I am always happy when people have babies....;-) They are just so adorable!

Anyway, fact being that I HAD to make a card for her little girls and this is what I created:

For this card I embossed some lovely baby pink paper I had in my stash for a llloooonnngg time with my Swiss Dots embossing folder (which I adore!) and then added some glitter paper by Nana's Kids DCWV, which, I have also never used before and had in my press for a long time... The combination of the 2 papers is actually really cute, so I honestly do not know why I have never used the papers before...! ;-)

I then decorated the card with some lovely flowers (obviously 2 flowers for the twin girls!) and really adorable little hand and foot buttons I got some time ago at a craft fair.

I found this image at Mo's Digital and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and I thought it would have been perfect for this occasion, even though it does not represent 2 little baby girls, if you know what I mean! I add some little sparkle in the tutu, in the stars and in the hair accessories just to give it a little extra glam effect!

The layout was taken from Mo's Dream Team blog and I really think that it worked out very well for this card!

Furthermore, because of such a special occasion, I also decided to decorate the inside of the card:

Despite the fact that the pics are possibly not the best i could have taken, I am really really happy with the outcome of this card!! :-)

Saturday card!

I have to admit that making card is turning more and more into a real addiction!! ;-) and the problem is that there are so many great cards out there on the Internet to get inspired from that 24hrs sometimes are just not enough!!! :-)

So, here is the card I decided to make today...just because someone special in my life needs a handmade card...!

Once again, I used the sketch from Sassy Cheryl's challenge, as well as one of their images! I think it is just so cute!!!

Woow!!!

I have just found out that I won my very first blog challenge!!! And I am thrilled!! (the little pleasures in life....;-) ) And this was thanks to the Digi Doodle weekly challenge

So, after such thrilling news, here is another card I made today inspired by Sassy Cheryl's sketch for this week's challenge:

My hubby's brother (also one of our son's God father) has been slightly sick lately (nothing serious...), so I thought it might have been nice to send him this card! I hope he'll like it, as I am always sad to part from my creations unless I know the recipient is going to be 200% happy to receive the card....and sometimes men fall into this category... :-/

And, why not, I would like to enter this card into this week's Digi Doodle challenge and The Pink Elephant Challenge as well!

"For Mum" card

I know...it is very late at night and I should be going to bed, but this is the most quiet moment of the day!!! ;-)
As my hubby was out for work AGAIN tonight (it has been a busy and rough week for all of us..), I decided to make a card instead! So here is what I created:

I am still unsure on whether I am absolutely 100% happy with my creation, but I guess that overall I am!! :o)

Hello to everybody!
I had a truly busy few days and, unfortunately, I did not have much time for crafting...:-( and, I am sure you would all agree, it was really hard not to be able to switch off the busy daily routine and do some crafting... but that's just the way life goes some time! ;-)

However, as it is my dad's birthday, I could not let this go without making him a card... and when I saw this image by Mo's Digital Pencil, I just knew it the perfect image to portray my love to him...

Hi there!
Here I am participating to my very first online blog challenge! And it is Mo's weekly challenge. How exciting!!! :-)
