Saturday card!

I have to admit that making card is turning more and more into a real addiction!! ;-) and the problem is that there are so many great cards out there on the Internet to get inspired from that 24hrs sometimes are just not enough!!! :-)

So, here is the card I decided to make today...just because someone special in my life needs a handmade card...!

Once again, I used the sketch from Sassy Cheryl's challenge, as well as one of their images! I think it is just so cute!!!

And with this card I would like to enter the following challenges:

• Sassy Cheryl: sketch
• Cupcake Craft: buttons
• The pink elephant: pink
• Dare U 2: anything goes
• Cute Thursday: someone special
• A spoon full of sugar: 3 designer papers and 3 buttons

Thank you for looking!

Woow!!!

I have just found out that I won my very first blog challenge!!! And I am thrilled!! (the little pleasures in life....;-) ) And this was thanks to the Digi Doodle weekly challenge

So, after such thrilling news, here is another card I made today inspired by Sassy Cheryl's sketch for this week's challenge:

My hubby's brother (also one of our son's God father) has been slightly sick lately (nothing serious...), so I thought it might have been nice to send him this card! I hope he'll like it, as I am always sad to part from my creations unless I know the recipient is going to be 200% happy to receive the card....and sometimes men fall into this category... :-/

And, why not, I would like to enter this card into this week's Digi Doodle challenge and The Pink Elephant Challenge as well!

Two "Thank you" cards

When I saw my mother at the weekend, she took my last "Thank you" card, so I needed to replace it straight away.... and so these are the 2 cards I made to replace 1!! :o)

How to make your own flowers!

Hi there! As I was browsing around a few blogs, I got to this one:
HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN FLOWERS

I am sure there is a ton of pages like this on the Internet, even on YouTube, but I thought this was quite good too! Enjoy it!

"For Mum" card

I know...it is very late at night and I should be going to bed, but this is the most quiet moment of the day!!! ;-)
As my hubby was out for work AGAIN tonight (it has been a busy and rough week for all of us..), I decided to make a card instead! So here is what I created:

And, inspired by some other crafters out there.... (thanks Annika for inspiring me!), I decided to decorate the inside too:

I am still unsure on whether I am absolutely 100% happy with my creation, but I guess that overall I am!! :o)

And with this card I would like to enter the following challenges:

• Isabella's challenge: honouring mothers (ends 12th May)

• Digi Doodle challenge: sketch (ends 13th May)
• Dare U 2: anything goes (ends 20th May)
• Lili of the valley challenge: here comes summer (ends 13th May)
• Polka Doodle challenge: summer blossoms (ends 14th May)

Thank you for looking!

Hello to everybody!
I had a truly busy few days and, unfortunately, I did not have much time for crafting...:-( and, I am sure you would all agree, it was really hard not to be able to switch off the busy daily routine and do some crafting... but that's just the way life goes some time! ;-)

However, as it is my dad's birthday, I could not let this go without making him a card... and when I saw this image by Mo's Digital Pencil, I just knew it the perfect image to portray my love to him...

And with this card, I would like to enter the following challenges:

• Sentimental Sundays: for that special someone (ends 15th May)

• Cute Card Thursday: boyz to men (ends 12th May)

Mo's challenge #29

Hi there!
Here I am participating to my very first online blog challenge! And it is Mo's weekly challenge. How exciting!!! :-)

This week's challenge is to create a masculine card using, obviously, one of Mo's images. So, here is what I created!

It is actually going to be our best friend's birthday in about 4/5 weeks time, so the challenge was just the perfect opportunity and excuse for me to make him a card! ;-)

However, I would also like to enter the following challenges, if they allow me! ;-)

• Digi Doodle : anything goes...
• Pile it on: boyish colours
